Ryanair Airlines Travel Guide On How To Check In Online

During check in, if you are experiencing issues while checking in online, you may need to clear your Cache/Cookies from your computer. Another easy way to check-in is by using the Ryanair App.

Ryanair Check In Time?

Customers can check-in for flights 60 days in advance of both departure flights by purchasing a seat or if they have a Flexi Plus ticket. Both outbound and return flights must be within 60 days of departure. Customers can select where they would like to sit and choose to sit together if travelling with a group.

If you choose not to purchase a seat, you will be able to check-in 48 hours in advance of each departure flight and a seat will be randomly allocated to you (free of charge).

It is important to remember that both outbound and return flight must be 48 hours before departure in order to avail of a free, randomly allocated seat. You always have the option to purchase a seat in order to Check-in outside of this 48 hour window. Online check-in closes 2 hours before the scheduled flight departure.
Flexi Plus customers can check-in at the airport free of charge.

What Are The Airport Bag Drop Deadlines?

We recommend that you check-in baggage as early as possible, the Bag Drop desks open two hours prior to the scheduled flight departure time. The Bag Drop desks close strictly 40 minutes before the scheduled time of departure. If you miss this deadline your booking could be cancelled without refund and you could be prevented from boarding the plane.

Forgotten/Lost Your Online Boarding Pass?

Once you’ve checked-in online your boarding pass can be reprinted up to two (2) hours before the scheduled flight departure time.

If you arrive at the airport without your printed online boarding pass, we can print one for you, but you will be required to pay a Boarding Card Reissue Fee. (Flexi Plus customers can check-in free of charge at the airport). This facility is available up to 40 minutes prior to the scheduled flight departure. Click here for fee information.

Terms And Conditions (T&C) What Are Travel Documents Accepted By Ryanair?

When flying with Ryanair, every passenger needs to carry a travel document that meets the requirements of Ryanair, immigration and other authorities. A valid passport is accepted in most cases.

What Time Does The Boarding Gate Close?

It’s important that you make it to your boarding gate in good time, at least 30 minutes before your flight departure time. Boarding closes 20 minutes before departure. Please have your valid travel document and boarding pass ready at the boarding gate.

Irrespective of a passenger’s visa requirements, all non EU/EEA citizens must have their travel documents checked and online boarding pass stamped at the Ryanair Visa/Document Check Desk before going through airport security.

In addition all passengers departing from Moroccan airports must present their Boarding Pass at the local airport check-in facility. We can’t delay other passengers who arrived at the boarding gate on time, so passengers arriving late at the boarding gate will not be accepted for travel.

For travel on a later flight, you will be required to purchase a new ticket at the applicable fare.

Ryanair’s Travel Insurance

You can purchase Travel insurance online when you book your flights or afterwards via the “My Bookings” section on Ryanair.com or when checking in online.

You can view the full travel insurance policy document when you book your flight. Remember to check the tick box to confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to the Terms and Conditions of your insurance policy, in particular the Conditions and Exclusions relating to all pre-existing medical conditions.

If you wish to cancel your insurance policy you can do so within 14 days of purchase, as long as you have not started your trip. No cooling off period applies to Czech, Finnish, Danish, Portuguese, Swedish, Norwegian and French policies therefore they are non-refundable.
